Appeal following theft of laptop

An appeal for witnesses and information is being made after a black coloured ‘Lenovo’ laptop was stolen from student accommodation in Bangor.

Sometime between 7.30pm and 8.40pm on Tuesday, November 9, a large rock was thrown through the window of a ground floor bedroom at Cefn y Coed, Ffriddoedd Road halls of residence, Bangor. The offender or offenders have then stolen a black ‘Lenovo’ make laptop and a wallet containing cash and cards.

‘Lenovo’ is a rare laptop brand in the UK and along with appealing for witnesses and information to the incident, officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen such a laptop or have been offered one for sale to contact police.

Inquiries are underway and officers are appealing to anyone who was in the Holyhead Road/ Ffriddoedd Road area of Bangor between 7.30pm and 8.40pm on November 9, and who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to contact PC 2695 Hughes at Bangor Police Station on 101 (if in Wales) 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line) 0845 6071002 (English language line) or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
