Police are urging anyone with information to contact them after two motorists were targeted by someone with an air rifle.
Around 6.20pm on September 22 a man driving his car on Coed Y Felin Road, Brymbo, was shot at by what police believe to be an air rifle.
The driver was uninjured, but his car is damaged.
About an hour later, another car was shot at in the same manner.
A local man is offering a £50 reward for any information leading to the offender being brought to justice.
Inspector Paul Jones said: “Somebody in the area will know who is responsible for this highly dangerous crime.
“Using a weapon in a public place like this is extremely stupid, because the offender could find themselves being confronted by armed police officers.
