Bank holiday crowds have fun but not the sun

Poor weather failed to dampen the spirits of holidaymakers attending Rhyl’s Fun in the Sun event, with thousands of people enjoying the two day event held on Rhyl Promenade over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Last minute recording commitments by former Blue star Lee Ryan meant the schedule was changed at the eleventh hour, however, X Factor star Laura White and reality television stars Samanda kept the audience entertained.

Chart topping R&B stars Booty Luv closed the two day festival with their new release ‘Say it’ which is already predicted to be a big hit.

Other highlights over the weekend included Stoke on Trent based The Cameleonz donating their fee to 1340 (Rhyl) Squadron Air Training Corps and Rhyl’s very own Andy Stien wowed the crowds with his ‘Deadringer’ tribute to Meatloaf.

The two date festival was free of charge and organised by Denbighshire’s events team and supported by Rhyl Town Council.
