Parys Mountain, Amlwch, Anglesey
The weird, almost lunar landscape type atmosphere of Parys Mountain stems from the metals within it, primarily lead, zinc and copper, together with traces of gold and silver.
Besides being a centre of mining since prehistoric times, Parys Mountain is now also a popular tv/film shooting location.
