Gorsgoch is a small hamlet in west Wales. "Gors" being the welsh word for bog, and "goch" being the mutated form of "coch" meaning red. So the name of this place literally translated is in fact, Red Bog. This red bog most certainly does exist, and is in fact located linearly along the main road that leads through the village.
The village is currently developing at a high rate, new houses are being constructed and planning is down for more. Gorsgoch's main attraction is the pub, Cefn-Hafod, unfortunately the garages have been closed along with the school some 10+ years ago.
