Llanfoist (Welsh: Llanffwyst) is a village in Monmouthshire, Wales at grid reference SO287130, near Abergavenny. The Royal Mail postcode is NP7. The domestic dialling code is 01873, and the majority of phone numbers begin with the two digits "85". The primary school is due to move site from its current location to a field by the canal. At the top of the village on a hill is Llanfoist wharf, on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. The wharf is now owned by a narrowboat hire company.
The village's name comes from Saint Fwyst. The novelist Alexander Cordell is buried in Llanfoist.
