Llangyfelach is the name of an electoral ward, a community and a village in the county of Swansea, South Wales. The community has its own elected community council.
The electoral ward consists of some or all of the following areas: Llangyfelach, Pantlasau, Pontlliw, Tircoed and Treboeth, in the parliamentary constituency of Gower. The ward is bounded by Pontarddulais and Mawr to the north; Morriston, Mynydd-Bach and Penderry to the south east; and Penyrheol and Penllergaer to the south west.
Llangyfelach village The village of Llangyfelach is located about 4 miles north of Swansea centre, just west of Morriston Town. To the west is open moorland. Bordering the village to the north is the M4 Motorway with a junction named after the village. The village has its own primary school and football club.
