Red Roses (Welsh: Rhos Coch, "red moor") is a village in the United Kingdom of Western Carmarthenshire, bordering with Pembrokeshire. It is part of the Eglwyscummin Community. The village is situated around the main route to South Pembrokeshire, the A477, and the B4314 one of the main routes to the holiday resort of Pendine. Surrounded by farming land, the village is near to a number of holiday destinations and has two caravan parks and a public house. The local young farmers group were instrumental in creating a memorial garden resighting the memorial stone that lay very close to the main trunk road. An old Methodist Chapel has laid abandoned for sometime and is on the site destined for a new community hall. The crossroads in the village was once a major accident black spot but there have been few since a 40mph speed limit and an anti skid road surface were added. the main trunk road is set to start in 2012.
