Two special career roadshows will take place in the Caerphilly county borough next month to provide local people with more information about working in childcare.
The Caerphilly Childcare and Play Roadshow 2009 will visit the following venues: Wednesday 2nd September at Van Community Centre (12noon – 2.30pm) and Friday 4th September at Tiryberth Community Centre (10.00am – 12.30pm)
The careers roadshow is aimed at encouraging new people into the childcare and play profession. It is a taster session for people who have thought about working with children, but are not sure how to get started.
The areas that have been selected for the roadshow to visit currently have a low level supply of Childcare and Play provision, and a high demand for these services.
