A suite of cutting-edge and innovative business courses will help to upskill employees and boost business owners’ trade.
Glyndwr University will host a Professional Development Open Evening on Tuesday July 7.
The free event runs from 6pm-9pm, giving employees, SME owners and entrepreneurs the opportunity sign-up to a range of part-time, industry-relevant qualifications.
Taking place at the Wrexham University’s Catrin Finch Centre, there will also be opportunity for networking and to speak to lecturers and find out more about bespoke courses.
The Business School will also be on hand to discuss programmes such as Accounting and Finance (ACCA), the Executive MBA, Marketing (CIM), Human Resources (CIPD), the Part-time Higher National Certificate (HNC) and the FdA and BA (Hons) in Business.
Business Development Executive, Laura Gough, says the new courses being rolled out as part of Glyndwr InBusiness will appeal to individuals and companies and in a variety of sectors.
“We hope to see companies of all sizes there on the night as Glyndwr University has a wide selection of sector-leading courses that cover all aspects of business,” said Laura.
“As we’re a new and growing institution we are in a position where we can be flexible, offering bespoke courses tailored to the needs of the company, or to meet an industry standard/accreditation that’s vital in their field.”
She added: “We are passionate about equipping people with the skills they need to succeed, and to prepare students, employees and organisations for the ever-changing landscape of modern life, and modern business.

The Business School is also set to launch The Glyndwr Club in the coming weeks.
Aimed at professionals in a variety of sectors across Wales and the North West, the initiative will bring them together for networking events, to share best practice, engage with the University, deliver workshops and events and look to develop training and KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) opportunities.
‘The Club’ will be launched on September 3 by Ann Francke, Chief Executive of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
An annual awards ceremony is also in the pipeline, and Laura says there has never been a better time to “do business” with Glyndwr University.
“As well as our popular undergraduate and postgraduate degrees we are keen to push our part-time offering, to give people the opportunity to join us here at the Business School,” said Laura.
“We hope to see plenty of people here on July 7, and will do all we can to deliver and exceed your training needs.”
