Ower challenges his squad

Glamorgan Wanderers coach Chris Ower has called on his players to be ‘professional’ when his side takes on Corus in a re-scheduled SWALEC Cup clash on Saturday.

“Despite the disruption of the weather there has been no let up in the intensity in the camp,” commented coach Chris Ower. “Its hard on the players to be on top form the day after a Wales versus England international but the players must show their professionalism.”

“The week’s delay is the same for both sides so nothing has really changed from last week,” added manager Darren Joy.

The Wanderers are forced into changes to the side that was scheduled to play against Corus last week. The experienced Harry Trelawny comes back in at scrum half following an injury to Tim Cronin and Greg Callow is also injured which allows Lewis Williams a chance to return to the squad following his involvement with the Blues last weekend.

The winner of this game will play Merthyr in the next round.
