Party Leaders Issue Messages of Support to the Welsh Team.

Ahead of today’s big game between Wales and France at the Millennium Stadium we at Welsh Icons asked the leaders of the four main political parties in Wales if they would like to pass on a message to our brave boys.

Leanne Wood, newly elected leader of Plaid Cymru said: “This is a new day, a new dawn, a new start for a Welsh Wales. I’d like to let you all know that we the people of Wales are fully behind you today apart from those two parasites on Anglesey“.

Andre RT Davies, leader of the Conservatives in Wales told us: “We are all in this together, we the squeezed middle. I know what it is like to be in the middle of a scrum. Only the other day I had to fight for the last packet of digestive biscuits in Fortnums”.

Cawrwyn Jones, First Minister of Wales and leader of the Labour Party in Wales said: “Can you ask your photographer to get my good side. You don’t think this shirt is too red do you? Yes, rugby, heard of that, what’s this Wales thing?”

Kirsty Williams the leader of the Lib Dems in Wales was unavailable to comment but her press-officer said that she wished the team well and asked if we would be like a photograph of one of the Jennys standing by a Zebra Crossing?
