Wrexham women love to run

Alyn Waters Country Park is supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life this year with two races.

The first takes place on Sunday, May 23 during and the second will take place on the evening of June 16. There are still places available on both races.

The fund raising target for the 1,500 runners or walkers in each race is £80,000.

John Whittaker, Senior Ranger at Alyn Waters said:

“Due to the success of the race in the last three years we have found it necessary to put on two races this year. Wrexham ladies enjoy the event and we are looking forward to seeing many more this year as demand for places increases.
