A lorry driver has been taken to hospital in Wrexham following an incident near Llanferres whereby a lorry overturned.
Police received a call at 11.23am today (Friday, September 4) from the Ambulance Service reporting the incident which happened in a lay-by on the A494 road around a mile from Llanferres heading towards Ruthin. The Scania tipper lorry had overturned and the driver was trapped.
Police, Ambulance Service and the Fire Service attended. The driver sustained head injuries and was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
