Denbighshire roadworks: September

Denbighshire wants to keep residents and visitors as informed as possible about roadworks in the county. Here is the current roadworks update aimed at keeping you moving on the county’s roads. Listed below are the major roadworks scheduled for September. These are not all works being carried out by the council.

  • Mill Bank Road, Rhyl – housing renewal area. Road closure ends September 2009.
  • Ffordd Penrhywlfa, Prestatyn – kerb replacement. Two way temporary traffic lights until 24 October.
  • Kerfoot Avenue, Rhuddlan –major sewer improvements. Three way temporary traffic lights until end September.
  • Bod Erw Bridge, St Asaph – major trunk road improvements for a further 6 months. Only emergency works will be carried out on The Roe until the works are complete to avoid any unnecessary delays.
  • Hylas Lane, Rhuddlan – new gas main until 11 September 2009.
  • Allt-y-Badi, Llangollen – drainage improvement to December 2009.
  • Ffordd Penrhywlfa, Prestatyn – carriageway refurbishment – Two way temporary traffic lights until 25 September 2009.
  • Cegg y Ffordd, Prestatyn – bridge works. Two way temporary traffic lights to 27 November 2009.
  • Abbey Road, Llangollen – New gas service. Two way temporary traffic lights until 7 September 2009.
  • Various Roads, Llanrhaeadr – Reconstruction of a wall until 9 October 2009.
  • Criccin Road, Waen- – Resurfacing until 7 September 2009.
