Gwent Police is appealing for information to a serious sexual assault on a 14 year old girl that took place in the vicinity of Ebbw Vale town centre between 10.30pm and 11.30 pm on Monday 7th September.
The victim had been out with friends prior to the incident and was attacked on her way home.
The offender is described as male, between 40 and 50 years old, 6ft tall with grey shoulder length hair and a moustache.
Gwent Police have launched an investigation using specially trained officers from the Serious Sexual Offences Unit and are appealing for information from anyone who was in Ebbw Vale town centre between 10pm and midnight who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or has any information in relation to the incident to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
