Pontarddulais (pronounced pont-tar-doo-lace) is a town in south Wales. It is situated some 16 km (10 miles) north west of Swansea city centre. Pontarddulais has a very well maintained town centre.

The town gives its name to an electoral ward, a community of the city and county of Swansea. The electoral ward covers the town of Pontarddulais and its surrounding rural areas, in the parliamentary constituency of Gower. The electoral ward is bounded by Mawr to the east; Llangyfelach to the south east; and Penyrheol to the south west.

The town has a few schools and churches in it. Pontarddulais Primary School, Pontarddulais Comprehensive School, Bryniago School and a few other Welsh Speaking Schools. Pontarddulais Comprehensive and Primary are English Speaking schools, but do teach the Welsh Language. The local railway station is served by the Heart of Wales Line.

The town boasts a relatively high proportion of Welsh speakers.
