Mancott - From 'A Topographical Dictionary of Wales' (1849) MANCOTT, a township, in the parish of Hawarden, union of Great Boughton, hundred of Mold, county of Flint, North Wales, � of a mile (N.) from Hawarden; containing 282 inhabitants. There is a place of worship for Calvinistic Methodists, in which a day school and a Sunday school are held: the day school is partly supported by schoolpence, but chiefly by subscription, and is open to any denomination.�See Hawarden. |
