Boys Village, St. Athans was a wartime camp for miners from the South Wales coalfield and South Wales Valleys area during World War II and had also been used to provide holidays for their families pre war.
Now a derelict village, there are many rumours about what has happened there. Such as murders in the church, a fire with many deaths, and the roof of the pool collapsing whilst people were in it. No suspicious activities have been confirmed, but visitors to the village have certainly experienced some strange things.
Boys Village is derelict, wrecked & has been stripped by lead & copper thieves. The camp was established in the 1920's to provide a holiday by the sea for the boys of the South Wales coalfields, but has had many uses over the years, & now it's future is uncertain. The pool roof collapsed in 2006-7, long after the camp was abandoned.
