Conwy Castle with my daughter photographing yours truly and my son taking this shot. Notice the red notice on the left wall. This notice warns visitors of the need to take care when using steps in order to avoid accidents. On a previous visit to the castle, when actually reading this notice and leaving the viewing platform I miscounted the steps and thinking there was only one step, found myself going base over apex. Fortunately, it was only my dignity that was hurt as I rolled with the fall holding my camera aloft to avoid any damage to it. |
