A swan on Cosmeston Lake

Cosmeston Medieval Village is a "living history" village in the Vale of Glamorgan near Penarth and Cardiff in south Wales. Based upon remains discovered during a 1980s archaeological dig in the grounds of Cosmeston Park, it is a re-creation of 14th century peasant life.

The village regularly plays host to groups of reenactors, who camp in authentic tents around the outskirts of the village, and do displays of combat for the public.

Cosmeston Park
Cosmeston Park is a public park between Penarth and Sully near Cardiff in the Vale of Glamorgan county of south Wales. It has a notable lake and lies on the medieval site of Cosmeston.
