Cwmyoy (Welsh: Cwm-iou) is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales in the United Kingdom.
Location Cwmyoy is located seven miles north of Abergavenny in the Vale of Ewyas in the Black Mountains, Wales, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in an upland location, just below the ridge of Hatterall Hill, the border between England and Wales, along which runs Offa's Dyke Path.
History & Amenities Cwmyoy has a church, St Martin's, that has been shifted out of alignment at several points due to a landslip and subsidence on the valley side and, leaving it with a photogenic crookedness and and supporting buttresses.
Llanthony Priory, Capel-y-ffin and Gospel Pass are all accessed by passing below Cwmyoy village.
The area is popular with hillwalkers and pony trekkers.
