Glynneath (alternatively Glyn-Neath, Welsh: Glyn-nedd), is a small town in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot, traditional county of Glamorgan, south Wales, lying on the River Neath. Glynneath is also the name of a community and an electoral ward coterminal with the town.

It is famous for one of its sons, the entertainer Max Boyce.

Glynneath is a picturesque tourist area with waterfalls to the north east at Pontneathvaughan (Pontneddfechan) near the Brecon Beacons.
