Llanberis Lake Railway
Elidar (built 1899) being coaled at the Gilfach Ddu station of the Llanberis Lake Railway. It started life as a slate quarry engine but when the quarry closed in 1969, it was bought by the Lake Railway and refitted together with her companions, Dolbadarn (1922) and Thomas Bach (1895), also quarry engines and now all three are used for hauling visitor and tourist traffic.
