Llanelly (Welsh: Llanelli) is the name of both a village and its respective parish in south-east Wales.
The village is situated on a hillside above the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal and the River Usk, some 4 miles west of Abergavenny. The parish is part of the administrative county of Monmouthshire and traditional county of Brecknockshire. Before local government re-organisation in 1996, the village was in the district of Blaenau Gwent, but the electors overwhelmingly voted to be transferred out of it. The Brecon Beacons National Park encompasses the parish and the surrounding area.
