Llanthony (Welsh: Llandewi Nant Honddu) is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, United Kingdom.
Location Llanthony is located in the Vale of Ewyas, a previously glaciated valley (at the time of the last Ice Age) within the Black Mountains, Wales, seven miles north of Abergavenny and within the eastern section of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
History & Amenities Llanthony Priory and is situated here. Offa's Dyke Path passes above on the ridge which forms the border between England and Wales. The area is very popular for hillwalking , pony trekking horseback riders and mountain bikers.
