The Severn Bridge crosses The River Severn, where it becomes the Bristol Channel.
The bridge links England (Aust) and Wales (Chepstow).
The bridge was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1964. Prior to the bridge being built, car ferries operated the crossing.
