Snowdon Mountain Railway
The locomotive Padarn (1922) waiting at the Llanberis terminal of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Note the tapered boiler to allow efficicent operation when the train is working on the gradients in its five mile trip involving a change of elevation of 3,000 ft.
