Theres plenty of entertainment to be had around St David's, Britains smallest city. It offers a cathedral, Bishops Palace, Oceanarium and watersports centre plus Ramsey Island RSPB reserve across the bay. Whitesands Bay, one of the best beaches and seaside resorts in Wales, is also close by. After a hectic day, escape the hurly-burly of life in this Youth Hostel, which has simple accommodation in an old farmhouse and outbuildings set below Carn Llidi.

Great for:
Families and surfers.

Need to know:
Catering for groups can be arranged. Access via an unmade road. A 4-bedded family unit is available.
