Llanarthney (Welsh: Llanarthne) is a village in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is located 12 kilometres to the east of Carmarthen and 10 kilometres to the south-west of Llandeilo. It has been home to the National Botanic Garden of Wales since 2000. Seven hundred and twenty one people were living in the community of Llanarthney in 2001, of whom 61% were Welsh-speaking (2001 UK Census).
