Llangennech RFCis a Welsh rugby union team based in Llangennech. Llangennech RFC plays in the Welsh Rugby Union Division One West League.
n the earlier history of the club, during the 1890s, a match against Tenby RFC turned violent after the final whistle. The Llangennech supporters were hounded, by the local fans, through the streets back to their waiting train, and several carriages were damaged before the train left. When the town of Llangennech applied to the Great Western Railway for travelling facilities to Pembroke twenty eight years later, they were refused due to the damage to the rail coaches on the Tenby excursion. |
