Snowdon Mountain Railway
It looks like a London pea-souper and it certainly smelt like one but this is the forecourt of the Llanberis Mountain Railway Terminus. Taken on a very sunny day (look to the top left of the photo). I was told by one of the engine drivers that cheap imported coal made far more smoke that the tradition Welsh steam coal.
