Tom Middlehurst
Tom Middlehurst is a Welsh Labour Party politician and former member of the National Assembly of Wales for the Alyn and Deeside constituency from 1999 to 2003.

A keen county crown bowler, Mr Middlehurst has worked as a management services officer in local government. Member of the North West Economic Forum. He is the former leader of Flintshire County Council from 1995-99, and Chairman of Wales LGA.

In the First Assembly (1999-2003) he was appointed Assembly Secretary for Post-16 Education and Training from May 1999 to October 2000. He then went on to Chair the European and External Affairs Committee.
