With the kick-off of the 6 Nations rugby series fast approaching, City Hall will be hosting rugby hospitality on home match days starting with Wales v Italy on Saturday 1 February.
All the excitement of match day can be enjoyed in the comfort of one of Cardiff’s most prestigious venues. Family, friends, work colleagues will be able to watch the thrills and spills of the match on the big screen whilst enjoying a superb 4 course meal. Special attention has been given to the themed menus, inspired by the delicacies of the country of opposition. From a luscious Tuscan antipasto misto, a succulent steak au poivre and a raspberry-whisky inspired Scottish dessert, the award-winning chef at City Hall has created some mouth-watering menu options. The cost is £40 per person.
Cabinet Member of Sport, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Ramesh Patel said: “City Hall is a superb venue for enjoying all the thrills of match day and this is a new in-house initiative. With the city centre’s bars and restaurants packed to capacity, it is great to be able to offer rugby fans an alternative venue with fantastic food and a brilliant view of the game.”
