Police in Swansea are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which happened on the A483 Carmarthen Road at around 9.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January.
The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and a Saab 95 and occurred at the traffic lights with the junction of Gendros Crescent.
As a result of the collision the 24-year-old male driver of the Fiesta suffered serious head injuries and is currently in a critical condition at Morriston Hospital.
The female driver of the Saab was also taken to hospital for treatment for back and neck injuries.
Two passengers in the Saab and a front seat passenger in the Fiesta suffered less serious injuries.
Prior to the collision, the Fiesta was travelling towards the city centre and the Saab in the opposite direction.
