Glyn Davies, Conservative MP for Montgomeryshire, has welcomed an update from EE that work to rectify network problems, which have affected North Montgomeryshire since Sunday, is nearing completion.
Glyn Davies’s constituency office has received news that engineers appear to have fixed the issues, which have beset its customers in the north of the area all week.
Speaking about EE’s update, Glyn Davies MP said:
“EE have told me that its engineers installed a replacement dish on the failed mast yesterday. For a number of technical reasons, the replacement didn’t work. Engineers were unable to climb the mast at night, but were back on the site first thing this morning to install another replacement.
“EE tell me that the problems now appear to have been fixed, and indeed I have received feedback from users that the signal seems to be improving today.
“The engineers are continuing to monitor the site to ensure there are no further issues. EE have promised to update me when they have confirmation that its engineers have completed their works.”
