Health Checks for Denbighshire’s Bus Services in Public Surgeries

denbighshireDo you want to contribute to how Denbighshire’s local bus services develop? Are you satisfied with your bus service? Are there areas where you feel they could be improved?

On February 11th, Bus Users UK in conjunction with the regional transport consortium Taith and your local county will be running a number of drop-in bus surgeries in your area. Come along to meet BUUK representatives and managers. This is part of a study of bus services between Abergele, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Holywell that aims to try to identify improvements. As part of the review, we need your ideas and comments.

Some questions to which they will need answers are: how easy do you find your bus service to get to work or health appointment? Should journeys operate more directly or is it better to service as close to residential areas as possible?

There’s no need to book. Just turn up at one between the times stated at any of the following destinations, on February 11th 2014:

Abergele Library 9.30am-11.30am
Rhyl White Rose Centre 12.30pm-2.30pm
Holywell Flintshire Connects Office 3pm-5pm

Denbighshire Council say that they would still like to hear passengers’ views even if they cannot make a surgery. Passengers are able to contact any of the following council officers:

Abergele: Gethin George 01492 575562
Rhyl & Prestatyn: Peter Thomas 01824 706964
Holywell: Ceri Lloyd 01352 704531
