South Wales Police officers have attended the scene of an incident at Colum Road, Cardiff.
Police were called at 07.03 hours and Armed officers were deployed to ensure the safety of the public and officers in the area.
A 27 year old man has been arrested and is in police custody.
Colum Road was closed for a short time whilst the incident was being dealt with. The road has been reopened and traffic is flowing freely.
