Asian Jewellry Stolen in Cardiff

Photo of jewellery 1Police in Cardiff are appealing for information following a burglary which took place between 5.20pm and 6.10pm on Thursday 6th February 2014 at an address on Claude Road, Cardiff.

During the burglary a significant amount of Asian Jewellery was stolen along with a substantial amount of cash.

It is believed that the two masked men responsible gained entry via the back kitchen door, while the 59 year old householder was upstairs in her bedroom ironing.

The Jewellery, which  had been handed down by other family members included: 1 pair of earrings, 2 ornate necklaces, 2 necklaces, 2 headpieces and 6 rings.

Anyone with information that may help lead police to identify those responsible are asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 or  Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
