Burglary: Queen Street, Maesteg

South Wales PolicePolice in Bridgend are investigating a burglary of a house on Queen Street, Maesteg which occurred sometime between 6.30pm on Sunday 9th February and 6.30pm on Tuesday 11th February 2014.

It is believed that access to the house was gained via French Doors at the rear of the building after the glass was removed. A range of jewellery was stolen as well as three TV’s and a wooden truck with Jones and Co, written on the side.

Detective constable Darren Bowen of Bridgend CID said:

“This incident happened during the afternoon and there would have been some noise made by whoever was responsible when the glass was being removed.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us. Also we want to hear from anyone who may have been offered the chance to buy any jewellery or TV in any unusual circumstances.”
