This is the situation regarding schools in Denbighshire on Monday, 11 January. (As at 8.40pm Sunday)
- St Brigid’s School, Denbigh – open to exam pupils and staff only
- Denbigh High School- open to exam pupils and staff only
- Ysgol Dinas Bran, Llangollen-open to exam pupils and staff only
- Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Ruthin -open to Years 11, 12 and 13 students
- Blessed Edward Jones High School, Rhyl – open to Years 12 and 13 students.
- Ysgol Glan Clwyd, St Asaph: Open to exam pupils and staff only
- Prestatyn High School is open to all pupils.
- Rhyl High School will be assessing the situation in the morning.
The following schools will be closed:
- Ysgol Esgob Morgan Juniors, St Asaph
- Ysgol Twm o’r Nant, Denbigh
- Ysgol Tir Morfa, Rhyl
- Ysgol Plas Cefndy, Rhyl
- Project 10 and 1, Rhyl
- Stepping Stones, Rhyl
- Ysgol Rhewl
- Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn, Denbigh.
School transport will operate on Monday, 11 January to Prestatyn High School, Blessed Edward Jones (Years 12 and 13 students), Ysgol Brynhyfryd (which is open to students from Years 11, 12 and 13) and to any other school that is open.
