South Wales Police is investigating the suspicious death of a 45-year-old inmate at HMP Cardiff during the early hours of Thursday, March 6.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and is in custody at Cardiff Bay Police Station.
The HM Coroner has been informed and an investigation is continuing.
