South Wales Police is appealing for information following a burglary at a house on Adeline Street in Splott, Cardiff which occurred overnight between Wednesday January 6 and Thursday January 7, while the home-owners were sleeping.
A laptop, digital cameras, photo keyring and video camera were stolen. The family are particularly appealing for the video camera to be returned to them as it provides their disabled 27 year old son with much enjoyment and also the video inside captures a family holiday in Eygpt which is of sentimental value.
DC Liz Lumsden of Roath CID said:
“The video was understandably of sentimental value to the family involved. They were asleep when the burglary happened and woke to find their belongings gone. The return of this video is most important to them.
“Enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone with information about this burglary or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to call us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Roath CID on 02920 527 262 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
