South Wales Police Appeal for Witnesses to Brynmenyn Robbery

South Wales PoliceSouth Wales Police is investigating a robbery that occurred near the junction of Bettws Hill and Queen Street, Brynmenyn, Bridgend at approximately 4:10 am on Wednesday 26th March 2014.

The person responsible approached a lone male victim and threatened him, prior to stealing the man’s mobile telephone. The culprit is described as approximately 30 years of age, roughly 6′ 6″ tall and of a muscular build. He was wearing dark coloured jeans, a dark coloured hooded top and dark coloured trainers.  He also wore a distinctive black baseball cap with a “NY” logo in gold lettering on the front above the peak.

The investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Gareth Newman said: “Such offences are rare for the area and we are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man matching the description of the offender within the area to come forward.”
