Police Investigate Burglary in Sketty, Swansea

South Wales PolicePolice in Swansea are appealing for information following a burglary a house in Sketty.

The incident happened at a house in Huntington Way between 4pm on Friday 28th March and 8.30pm on Sunday 30th March while the occupants were away for the weekend.

Entry to the detached property was via a patio door and a large amount of property has been stolen from a downstairs study.

Among the items stolen were an Apple Mac computer, an Apple laptop computer and a quantity of jewellery and commemorative coins.

Detective Constable Laura O’Sullivan of Swansea CID said: “The house is a large secluded property at the end of a cul-de-sac which backs on to common land.

“We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Friday night or over the weekend to come forward. We are also appealing to anyone with information about the stolen property to contact the police.”
