A 17 year-old female from south Wales was arrested on Saturday afternoon (April 12, 2014) as part of an investigation into a grossly offensive Facebook comment relating to the sudden death of a 15 year-old male from Sketty, Swansea.
She was questioned and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are not looking for anybody else in relation to this matter.
The police have said:
“The public are reminded about their responsibilities to keep comments on social media within the law. Offensive posts can cause great distress and harm to those individuals and families who are targeted at very distressing times in their lives.”
