The countdown is well and truly on to the third annual Llandeilo Jazz Festival.
Jazz at Llandeilo takes place on July 4, 5 and 6 this year.
“And this year’s event promises to be the biggest and best so far,” said festival organiser Simon Buckley, chief executive of Llandeilo-based Evan-Evans Brewery.
“Jazz at Llandeilo 2013 was a complete sell out and we were blessed with great weather and great entertainment, with more than 250 musicians performing over the course of the weekend.
“We pride ourselves on the variety of our music, with something to appeal to everyone, from Mainstream, Traditional, Big Band, Ragtime, Jazz Rock, Funk, Gypsy Jazz and Blues.
Headline acts will be named next month.
Mr Buckley added: “My brewery is delighted to be supporting Jazz at Llandeilo.
“We believe in putting something back into the community and we believe we have created a wonderful event for the splendid town of Llandeilo.
“The festival was a big hit with the public last year and it’s really put Llandeilo on the map for jazz and music fans.”
Jazz at Llandeilo is neatly positioned in the music calendar between the Swansea International Jazz Festival, June 20-22, and Brecon Jazz, August 7-10.
The main venue for the Llandeilo festival will be the White Horse Inn, the Evan-Evans brewery ‘tap’ pub.
