Visitors are encouraged to bring a hard-boiled egg and take part in the annual egg-rolling finale.  Please bring waterproofs and clothes suitable for all weathers as this event takes place outside in parts.  Due to the nature of this event on a working farm, which is currently in lambing season, pregnant women are advised to speak to a member of staff in advance to ensure that they won’t come into close contact with sheep.  Fun on the Farm will take place on Thursday 17th April at 1pm.  Booking is required for this event and tickets must be booked through Blackwood Miners’ Institute on 01495 227206.  There will be a £1 booking fee for tickets bought online. For further details, please telephone the Countryside and Landscape Service on 01495 235219.
