Appeal for Witnesses Following a Robbery in Swansea

South Wales PoliceSouth Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred on the junction of Bullins Lane and Walters Road, Swansea between 2:15am and 3am on Saturday the 12th of April 2014.

The suspect who is described as a white male aged in his mid to late twenties wearing a black hooded jacket with a blue t shirt with a red motif on the front underneath the jacket, approached two female victims and demanded they hand over their handbags which contained their mobile phones, an Iphone 4S on Orange network, a black iPhone 5 which was in a green and black case and a yellow Ted Baker purse.

One of the victims was dressed as a Smurf and as such maybe very memorable.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have any information that could assist in identifying the suspect is asked to contact Swansea Central CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
