Police are appealing for information on a house fire in Roath, Cardiff.
They are particularly keen to identify a cyclist who was seen in Cecil Street and rode in the direction of Broadway around the time of the fire.
Officers are asking this person to contact them as they might have important information which could assist the investigation.
Emergency services were called to the property at around 4.15am on Wednesday, April 30.
There is extensive damage to the terraced house and police are treating the fire as suspicious.
Fortunately the family were able to get out of the house safely before the arrival of the fire service.
Officers are checking CCTV in the area and carrying out house to house enquiries.
